The irony is that silver crest is itself a fake/ non existent brand. The blender itself is a copycat of a particular binatone blender

The blenders description is the kicker.it is described as 5000w.

5000w is the rating of a small freestanding ac. You would require a big generator to run that. Your iron that shake 2.5kva is rated 1300w or so.

However once you see the cable of the silver crest blender you will know it is not 5000w. The cable is barely 1mm sq 3 core, same size as any other blender.

Las Las it is a 300w blender being masqueraded as something more powerful.

Effectively the blender snatched market share because of its glass crushing viral videos (I looked it up because the missus sent me one of the videos) and now everyone is reproducing the non existent product.

A lot of products sold in Nigeria are simply put together in China and have a non existent brand name slapped on them.

The last time I checked none of the retailers for home appliances cash and carry etal are carrying this product.
