No need for primaries then, since you all have allocated 7,800 votes already to Tinubu...
I guess the other contenders are just running for fun?
Politics is a game of interest, and where one's interest is best suited, that is the direction they would take.
Wait till the time draws close... Even in Lagos, Tinubu is not assured of 100% votes, unless he is thumbprinting himself.
Been pragmatic is best.
The writer forgot to consider the influence of possible vp to the contenders.
For instance, if Zulum is assured of becoming VP to Osinbajo, definitely the dynamics of the voting pattern of Bornu and other North Eastern states will change.

However, that Lagos is a sure bet for the Jagaban.

People like U want the PDP to have an easy route to Ask Rock. If not, how will the APC field a candidate who's like an orphan in his LGA? The House Leader even angrily declared that it will not happen.

Obasanjo was an orphan in entire southwest states during his first civilian shot.

How about that?

What will Tinubu do for nigeria? Can he fight corruption & put away nepotism? Can he allow the interest of the pe6to prevail even when his interest and that of his cronies is threatened?

Many APC delegates from North, South South and South East will vote for Amaechi

WhizdomXX:
All those states=3047/7800. And he won't get them 100%.
Tinubu must Contest.

Tinubu just needs 3991 votes to win the contest which is easily achievable for him considering he has a stronghold in states with high voting power. The truth of the matter is Tinubu has more states that would vote for him from top to bottom than Amaechi and Osibanjo. And that's key, Tinubu will get votes in states that he doesn't even have a stronghold. The easiest way to beat Tinubu is for other candidates to pick a consensus amongst themselves and face him alone. That way it becomes streamlined. But if Osibanjo and Amaechi eventually contest it would be difficult Sha.

Underrate Jagaban at your own peril Sha.

Baba fighting insecurity and giving us a stable economy is the most pressing thing we need today. With what Buhari has shown us today. Anybody that campaigns with fighting corruption he his just deceiving the populace.
Tinubu is not nepotistic, even in Lagos he gave foreigners chance including appointing igbos in state cabinet much to the disdain of citizens. That I can vouch for. And he doesn't have a bias against Christains.

However, that Lagos is a sure bet for the Jagaban.

If Zulum is interested in vice president he will openly align with Osibanjo or Amaechi and actively work for them... And as of present, that guy is more committed to Borno than chasing VP. He has nothing to lose as he his winning Borno reelection. He can then wait for 4 more years when it would be back to the North if he his interested in the presidency.

Currently we can all see how Dogara is visibly in Tinubu's campaign train. He his actively working for the vice presidency slot. So if Zulum is interested in being a vice by now he would have openly supported PYO or Amaechi. Shettima is his godfather and more or less a campaign DG of Tinubu.
Tinubu hasn't offended the north and most of them see it as a payback time for what he did for Buhari in 2015 as echoed by Ado Doguwa, shettima and co. So it will take a great convincing for Osibanjo to convince them otherwise.

Tinubu supporters are suffering from grandeur delusional disorders. There would a lot of drama before primary. I don't see Tinubu winning ticket. If he wins, there would be mass movement from APC to PDP.
Hmmmm although I don't support or buy Tinubu been the president but to say there will be mass deflection or movement from APC to PDP if he wins thats a lie cos the man we are talking about don't really hv enemy in the whole party cos all the candidates are connects to him one way or the other.

Can Tinubu allow the interest of the people to prevail even when his interest and that of his cronies is threatened?

What has buhari shown us?

How can a president provide security and a stable economy without getting rid of corruption?

What is the cause of Nigerias insecurity & unstable economy?

And you think that Tinubu isn't deceiving the populace?

How does giving foreigners the chance and appointing make Tinubu not to be nepotistic? Had the meaning of nepotism changed in the dictionary?

With this wishful analysis
I saw no place where Buhari’s interest was provided

So if Buhari holds a meeting with state delegates/Governors about protecting his interest, from ur analysis they won’t oblige him?

Tinubu will fight to d end so will Buhari
If Buhari doesn’t adopt a Tinubu candidacy( which isn’t happening), be sure Tinubu will fail amidst woefully
