Yes, I am damn right about it when I said it to like 3 NCDMB hopefulls that the updates they got recently, which corroborate with that of Newcastle shouldn't be dropped on the NCDMB Nairaland thread. Reason being, some (Nairalanders) are not socially fit enough to take updates as exactly received from the source.

If at all you have that urgency to drop an update, Pls be advise to use administrative languages like 'soon' and etc.

I repeat some fellows here are not fit enough as they are proving it daily that they lack that strength to handle life turbulence.

All those campaigning for the cancellation ultimately didn't upload their documents. Some didn't pass the first test.
If they uploaded their documents they would be praying for the conclusion of the recruitment even with the minor flaws.
It's not a case of doubting the veracity of the recruitment.
It's pure "bad belle"
We all know the process was not perfect.
A lot of MDAs don't even advertise some recruitments let alone organise tests and interviews.
Some sell to the highest bidder.
If you didn't upload your documents, quietly move on and wish others well.
Nobody knows the true position of the recruitment so allow those who still have hope keep hope alive.

My friend @jjj37 please calm down, I understand your anger, but for me It is really unfair the way this NCDMB board has treated us, how can you put people on hold for years without information on whether the process has been cancelled or not, why start the recruitment when you don't have timelines, why hide your identity on the advert, just rumors up and down, we cant even post anything we hear here because 100percent it will turn out not to be true, people keep saying good things about Simbi Kesiye Wabote, how experienced he is in the private sector, but truly there is no professionalism in how this recruitment has gone, my only suggestion is that someone who lives in Bayelsa should boldly visit their office and speak to the HR or we should write an open letter to the board.

Anyways, just to clear some doubts and ensure that our hope is rekindled, I witnessed a conversation (phone-in) between a hopeful and the ES in respect of the recruitment about 4 weeks ago. The caller pointedly asked the ES about the status of the recruitment and the ES assured him that they were waiting for some approvals and that when gotten, they will call those that scaled through on merit and that the process has not been cancelled. This report is just to prove to those of us who have doubted the legitimacy of the Oil and Gas Recruitment and the fact that NCDMB was not mentioned all along. By the way, I am commenting few meters from the Towers.

The speculation that the recruitment was to be concluded in first quota was well grounded but right now the chances of finishing this recruitment is near zero at the moment. I think its better to close this thread so that people can move on. If something positive happens that might affect you, you would easily find it in your email, not here. Best of luck to all
