I like what i see. If you have enough land, you can have some kind of flexible farm, and if you are very good, you may even have so much that you can start selling. My only concern, is water source. |

Mofun:I'm currently building a small fish farm that will stay in my balcony and water from it will be used to water the crops I will plant. I'd make a post and upload pictures of it once I'm done. |

Looking at the spate of insecurty in Nigeria forests, this inventions will help reduce increase in cost, hunger & scarcity of food crops if fully annexed...that has been postulated by agroeconomists. |

I have spaaaaaaace, you get what I mean but you see those goats ehn, cos fence is a dwarf one and no gate. As I don't have a paid job, I could go commercial Imagine goats that will come by midnight to feast on your plants. |

Good one OP, This is exactly what I advocate to people. Plant waterleaf, Ugwu, bitterleaf, efirin... Highly medicinal herbs. |

Mofun:this is something all Nigerians need to learn as soon as possible considering the fact that food shortage is just around the corner with Fulani herdsmen shenanigans and the war in Ukraine which will directly impact food and fertiliser imports |

Vlibray:Lol! When landlord sef like am... Funny enough, when my neighbour's wife saw him and got to know he's the landlord (since he is based abroad that was their first time of seeing him) she thought he'd complain. Surprisingly, he was rather challenged to go and do the same in the UK. |

Rotji:Wow! Great! Incidentally, my wife also started the move actually. She started with learning (from Youtube videos) and making the compost manure. Like play, like joke she started planting and I later joined in too. |

FILEBE:Abi o. He just likes a neat and organized compound. Maggots? Plants don't breed them. |
| Re: Saving Some Cost By Gardening--without Limits (pictures) by Mofun(op): 3:11pm On Apr 23, 2022 |
InvertedHammer:Not necessarily. The cement doesn't affect the soil since it's just the residue that is even almost invisible remaining on the bags. It's not a situation of mixing cement with sand for planting. Once cement doesn't remain actively in the bag just fill the bag with good soil and manure. Then plant your crops (seeds or seedlings). |

Mofun:Breed maggots ke no ..o. I mean the organic fish waste and others could breed maggots. I had to deal with one plant I planted at my balcony the other day. Houseflies started breeding |
| Re: Saving Some Cost By Gardening--without Limits (pictures) by Mofun(op): 3:14pm On Apr 23, 2022 |
FILEBE:Okay, you need to put a layer of sand on every layer of the compost manure and also cover the container being used to generate it. |
| Re: Saving Some Cost By Gardening--without Limits (pictures) by Mofun(op): 3:22pm On Apr 23, 2022 |
Chairwoman:Buy vegetable seeds. Mix with some soil and just spread them on the soil. Otherwise, don't throw away the stalk/stem of the vegetables you buy to eat. Just insert each stem into the soil in the right direction. Keep watering except there is sufficient rain. Gbam! |
