Ha! am not vaccinated oooo!

khasm:

Please pardon me,
Is it compulsory to be vaccinated before you can travel or leave Nigeria?

igbsam:

you should try to be. cos those who claimed not to be vaccinated were asked to step aside from the line. Besides, here in the UK, if u intend to work, you would need a covid-19 pass to get some jobs. so either way, u still need to be vaccinated.

But according to UK gov site, it's not necessary anymore. So where did you get yours from?

My good people, I understand I can fly through CDG, FRA or AMS enroute UK without getting a transit visa if I have US visa. I read this sometime ago on this_day_online https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2020/12/31/air-france-transit-visa-compulsory-for-nigerians-travelling-to-uk-from-january-1/#:~:text=Air%20France%2D%20KLM%20has%20reintroduced. Has anyone done this without hitch?

So I thought until i got here and most employers are requesting for covid-19 pass. Forget about what the site says, alot of business still sees covid-19 as a big deal. Some places like hospitals will ask u to put on your mask before they allow u in.

Besides, like i said.....qatar airline will ask for your vaccination card before allowing u check-in your flight and i am speaking from first hand experience. i don't know about other airlines

Good evening my people.

Please, how do you guys purchase books here? They're extremely expensive. Can one buy from Nigeria and send over here without it being charged custom duties?

Please, I need your ideas.

Building your credit score is a process happens over time. Start by getting on the electoral roll (make sure you register when you move residence). People will say you should get phone contracts, credit builder cards and all. All I would say is that be financially disciplined in a financial arrangement you enter (NEVER MISS A REPAYMENT), avoid matters that can lead to CCJs and don't try to apply for multiple credits at once.

If you know credit is not your thing, just don't apply. having to many hard checks and/or missed payment on your credit file have far reaching implications.

To where...?? Are you not tired of the race yet lol.. Not a bad place but to enjoy the area you may have to be mobile. Taunton maybe a bit better in regards to public transportation compared to other parts of SW though.

Hello house ,the age on my spouse marriage certificate (church wedding cert) was wrongly captured by us and I will need to upload the certificate for visa application for spouse dependent visa application. what option does ukvi proffer in such situations in correcting the age to sync with the date of birth on other documents.
uote author=KOVIC19COVID20 post=111492174]
Tell the Church to correct their(?) mistake. Let the church give you a new (age-corrected) one.[/quote]
It not a mistake by the church, it from us and Church is not ready to do anything about it, what are my other options .
Elders ,pls I need your input

Wetin maradona go cause, hin no go fit carry am ......

The age on your certificate must be matching, across board. Or else, you give them a very cheap reason to reject/refuse your application..........

Have you tried the registry, even if you have to pay them (I did not mention bribe)........... cheesy

Good morning house… someone want me to help her find out this question
Pls can u find out from anyone or nairaland, *using birth certificate of children, u just collected from NPC 3 months* to apply for dependent visa...pls ask if it not an issue

Pls house can anyone help with this.. 3months ago, she collected birth certificate for her (*3kids*) from National population commission (NPC) but she is worried if the certificate won’t raise flags Bcus they are gotten the same day

The person is using it for dependent visa
no red flag at all, provided that it is a legal document. i did likewise for my kids and two of them are here with me in the uk. we actually misplaced their birth certificate, but gone a replacement last year.

Yea I know it not that complicated an issue but I am just trying to be careful not to give chance for cheap denial as u stated although I already gotten the federal marriage certificate just a month before I finally travelled l but I feel I still need the extra church cert to prove that I have married much earlier ,the more prove the better .

Haba Oga, so you already have one with proper dates....

Don't be an Oliver twist, the certificate from your church, is not a legally binding document........

The one from your church, only satisfies your pastor, wife, yourself, your family and possibly God ........ cheesy

Do people still buy books in this era? I mean ebooks have become very trendy. However, Amazon is the house of used and new books
