Fed Govt Nig paid for NAF 12 Tucano, 12 Hind E, 12 Master, now 12 Viper:

Cash sum $3.5 billion for all those 48 light aircraft is too much. Instead, just 12 Tucanos, 12 Hinds are enough to add to our many other air fleets, numbers okay for a low-intensity land war.

Obsolete Nigerian Army is very dry having only 6 modern tanks, no infantry ATGM, almost no IFV, in a land war! Ahhh !

Coming new 12 Viper attack helicopters $1 billion can buy for sick dry NA new 800 armoured vehicles-drone carriers with 8,000 Drones mini loiter-munition guided missile-bomb armed UCAVs game changer modern multi-role MRAP APC ICV APV UCAV AFV ISR IFV equipped RCWS 20mm Automat cannons firepower, round the clock 24/7 long range vision day/night eyes on our lands, mixture of both tracked and wheeled troop carriers - defence patrol - attack vehicles.

We say procurement staff make wrong choices, people say its correct.

Obodo Naija has 774 local govts, so 800 vehicles cover all, add 8,000 drones, covers everywhere in Nigeria, power projection every corner.

All bloody bandits terrorists ransom robbers Jihad insurgents rapis t Benue militias Ombatse cults kidnappers herdsmen Boko Haram rebels cow rustlers ISWAP Caliphate will die or surrender or relocate up Sahara, fatally woundedded by 800 IFVs, hunted non-stop by 8,000 Kamikaze drones swarming like bees all over the skies of Nigeria.

Dude, its a start-a good one! If your formations adequately adapt to the new equipment expect good results. Eg,the choppers should be in army aviation for quicker response: in actual combat its difficult to get real time CAS if the gunships are with the AF. The FG must be upping their game and imo more AFVs and armed drones are inbound.

Yes, you are right the army need it's own gunships so as to have quick operational response and the presidency has just announced the largest single armoured vehicles purchase in the history of Nigeria. So let's keep our fingers crossed and see what happens next

I’m pretty sure we’ve all heard the major rumors going around that Belarus arguably Russia’s most loyal “Ally" and Europe”s “last dictatorship” has reportedly showed interest or already made a deal to purchase armored vehicles from the Private Nigerian company ProForce.

My question is if this is true do you think this will effect Nigeria’s relations with the anti-Russian western world considering the Russia’s war with Ukraine and Belarus”s support of it? Can Nigeria expect sanctions in the future?

If this really is the case I find it funny that Nigeria is still freely purchasing arms from the US and the European Union is now in negotiations with Nigeria to become Europe’s primary replacement for dependency on Russian gas after the Arabs rejected them; despite Nigeria supposedly selling arms to an enemy nation.

The term Enemy, what way do you define the word Enemy either as an individual or as a nation. Geo politics is changing right in front of the US just take India for example a decade ago the US will not be fighting for India's support asking her not to buy oil from Russia and you can see India still buying crude oil from Russia and the US says it's not going to affect sanctions imposed on Russia.

In this situation both the US and Russia needs India on their sides. So the US is very careful not to sanction India knowing fully well she needs India's support to contain China in Asia.

We wanted to buy AH-1z attack helicopters for sometime now but the US did not allow the say, recently the US Senate block the sales of the helicopters but all of a sudden the human rights consigns have all disappeared. And now they are selling the AH-1Z to Nigeria.

In Africa there are but few that can match the influence of Nigeria and the US just realized that in the process of a military conflict and a economic war with Russia, buying more helicopters from Russia will make Nigeria more dependent on Russia for supplies to support it's military equipments so there for it's time to step in and fill that voide so as to get Nigeria's support in the international level.

Belarus is the only European country that See's Nigeria as a legitimate partner before the war in Ukraine Nigeria has been managing a Belarusian satellite making Nigeria the only Africa nation to do so. There will be no sanctions on Nigeria if she sells weapons to Belarus.

The EU knows better, sanctions against Nigeria at this critical time when you are in dieing need of her oil and gas is a misplaced action.

THE WORLD'S GEO POLITICS IS REALLY CHANGING BEFORE OUR OWN EYES

Yes o me too knows its a good one, I am only afraid FG spending $1 billion for aircraft that we already have similar role types plenty, like NAF 30 flying tank helicopters Mi-35 Hind variants M, P, and V with 300 guided missiles, 12 Tucanos with 400 guided rockets.

Why not add missing assets first before repeat of assets we have? Transfer to Nig Army Aviation temporary 6 combat Agusta helicopters & pintle machine guns armed 12 Agusta helicopters as 18 armed combat & troop transport dual role?

To free that $1 B for NA 800 MRAP IFV & 8,000 mini drones because we dont have these in our Army at all. Vipers 12 copters can come later. We all know we need to mixed balance capabilities.

What do you think about Nigeria’s talks with the European Union regarding gas? Also are all of Nigeria’s purchases with Russia on hold now since there getting bogged down in an unexpected drawn out war with Ukraine?

Nigeria offered itself to Europe as an alternative gas supplier to Russia; of course the proper infrastructure isn’t in place to make that feasible anytime soon; but don’t you think Russia would see this as an attack on there biggest barging chip against Western Europe making Nigeria an enemy of Russia.

This provides further confirmation to reports we received in March that Nigeria has placed orders for Bayraktar Akinci drones.

Your morale is low and and your faith is almost lost. Take this to the telegram group and watch how it would be dissected bit by bit.

Just google "battlefieldgroup01" join the group and repost this..

When they are done, you would see small hope in the armed forces of Nigeria and the efforts in this particular case.

But that's not the type 85 fora start.

So very wrong mate.

For a start Type 85 was a typo, I called it Type 89 in the middle of my comment, but even I started with its exact name VP-1. Norinco Type 85, 86, 89, has many variants. You did not read that comment properly sha.

Telegram battlefieldgroup are humans so I dont ridicule people. Just that nine in ten of the guys are civilians who comment on war from internet cellphone, but I was a soldier in ECOMOG who fought real war.

Haba Bros or Aunty, morale ke? Which country you dey naa? Key national groups North to South and retired army generals are asking our President, NSA, AFN service chiefs to resign, reports say N100 million ransom was paid to Banditos to free that bank MD. We thank God sha Bandits did not kill your own child, but thousands of families bury loved ones in thousands this year with sorrow, you dey ask morale, haba!

Money is going to many hundreds of troop and cargo transport vehicles approved some days ago by FEC FGN as largest military vehicles procurement in the history of Nigeria.

Am just afraid and hope its not same type of vehicles dry, no weapon, no night vision, and Bandits will be posing with it in photo few months after delivery. We don't know any names of vehicles in the plan.
