Winter will soon be coming again ... no problem since alternative supplies will fill the gap. The war is intensifying ... nothing is guaranteed ... why are they sure Russia wouldn't blow up the pipelines?

Poland will have minimal effect, if Russia cuts gas supply.
As reserve will be used, in as much summer is near with lower gas demand.
In recent times, Poland has been making other plans to reduce the dependence on Russia gas.
Norway and Lithuania to the rescue as alternatives.

I have noticed most EU countries are ready to cut Russian oil. Their politicians and media have been planting alarming stories just to psy ops Russia. There at least two months supply of energy storage bought at discount from Russia while alternatives were been sourced from opening mothballed coal and nuclear power plants to better inter country selling of electricity.

Meanwhile, summer is coming in two months.

Are you an oil and gas expert? You need gas pipelines to be built before supplies can take place. NORWAY gas is different and liquidiftied.

But Gazprom supplies more than half of all Poland's gas imports. That's a big hole to fill.

And Poland is not the only EU country now seeking to stop buying Russian energy.

There's a lot of competition on an already tight gas supply market. When the heating season starts again in the autumn and demand rises, Poland could face a tricky few months securing enough supply.

And if it does so, it may have to restrict supplies to large industrial users.
