Lady irritated as hotel invites lodgers for morning prayers

A lady on social media shared how she got an invite for morning prayers at a hotel in Port Harcourt.
According to @Miz_Behavior on Twitter, she was at the hotel to rest, but was surprised when she was told to come downstairs for prayers.

The video she shared, showed men and women singing and clapping loudly.
Her tweet read: "I lodged at a hotel in ph.
"This morning, I got a knock on my door that I should come for prayers.
"I think say na joke, I didnt reply, next thing is a loud clap and songs from downstairs.
"It's still 7:30a.m. and na rest I come rest here oo. What's all this one now."

To worship God or to praise Him is not by fire by force. God understands us and our complexities more than we do.

I wanted to condemn the actions of the hotel but I realized someone might also need that morning devotional that particular morning....a rapist or ritualist in the hotel might receive salvation.

She's a fool.. A big one.. Nobody forced you, at this period we all need prayers in this country. There's only One God we pray to, Christian or Muslim. I have seen this happen in few hospitals and hotels. Especially hospitals. Make she go LUTH go see beautiful rich ladies wey no fit walk again, she go always appreciate the Almighty for her life

You don't expect lodgers to flow with your religious activities. It is very unprofessional of the hotel management to disturb their lodgers with such....hotel staff conducting open prayer sessions is hypocrisy.

Whenever you see people praying loudly, beware. They are hiding something bad about them and are using their loud prayers to cover up. The lady should check out from the hotel before she ends up regretting.

Those talking up, I believe it wasn't by force. It was just an invitation for any guest interested. Nice initiative from the hotel owner or manager! FAM, whatever platform God has given to you, use it well for His Glory!

u have never seen them forcing anybody. They just do ask if you will like to join them. Was she forced? At least u can see her still inside her room while they do there thing. I have been a hospital that started prayer without no one calling me. I joined them. You can encounter God's blessing anywhere. This same lady might even meet a good man who lodged and decided to join the prayer session. What am saying here is, she shouldn't have posted this kind thing since she wasn't forced.

The story seems to be fake.
But many of those comments above are senseless.

In this country we need more action than prayer.

She's ought to be happy that it's prayers she was invited for. What of if it was sacrifice and black magic they come knock her room for. She go realize say that one na by force.

See this one. You're not thankful to God its not the type of hotel where they kill people remove their body parts for rituals.. madam rester. .

Anyways, me I don't mind such practice because at least, you're assured of safety and security; considering the evil that is been perpetrated in Hotels these days.
One can always go back and rest after the prayer session.
