so u re still in school, nysc seems important to girls cos that's where they may meet their future husband's, thats y if a bill to scrap nysc is passed the people that would oppose the bill would be females so I heard. but to make it a success is better a female lawmaker sponsors the bill

he should leave nysc his colleague is already in Germany as a skilled worker immigrant with a first tier work visa and he's here looking for which state to serve a country that hasn't helped him in anyway

Yes it might hinder you from securing a job especially from a governmental organisation.

Anyways if your friend don't plan on working under anyone he might decide not to serve

P.s i heard it's a punishable offence to abscond. An abscondee will serve a minimum of 2 years in jail. I don't really know if this one is true

24years old is still very young, he should go for his NYSC and worked his redeployment down to the place he currently works...

Or he should arrange with the officer in charge and act as a ghost worker while he only comes for clearance at the end of each month...!!

A friend of mine has his name on the senate list of a university, the names for batch A stream 2 is out and his name is among, his 24yrs and according to nysc to apply for exemption you must be above 30yrs or married or have a life threatening illness, So please house, if you have ever successfully boycotted the nysc program how did you go about it and what's the process of officially applying for an exemption letter?
