I've been searching for a job for long now Today someone directed me to a receptionist vacancy in a hotel somewhere arround Lagos I went to apply they said salary is 20k -3000k TP (15days a month) No feeding One day on & one day off. Since you are currently jobless, you have to accept the offer while you keep on looking for better offers. Put in your best and try to be exceptional in the service you will be rendering the hotel regardless of the payment. Who knows if you might get connected to higher offers through that channel. To the best of my knowledge, presently u are not doing anything for living, so u need to start somewhere. Working there doesn't stop u from searching for another job. I will advise you to take the job as u no get any work for now. You can look for another side hustle to join up and at the end of d month u may end up with 60-70k. Note: still continue to dey hustle for lucrative job as this one is temporary. Wish u best luck. Mod: you can also start learning any IT stuffs make sure u don't waste those extra days abeg. Firstly I hate hearing the saying that "as a graduate this and that" you guys talk as if graduate is something that shouldn't do somethings because he/she is a graduate, the main thing is to have a plan for your life and stay focused on it, even if it means running errands for artisans. Yes I would. About a year after my graduation the first job I got had to do with waste management. Occasionally, I handled shovel myself but mostly it had to do with supperving the people who do the street sweeping and the collection. And the salary then was only 17k. Do you know something? I was glad and very thankful to God when I got that job. However, God has really smiles on me since then. 3 Likes |
