It is difficult to trust politicians really. It still amazes me how Buhari was able to carve a squeaky clean image and sell himself to the electorate as some kind of a redeemer, when a little scrutiny on his past deeds showed he was far from who he potrayed himself to be.
Peter Obi, on paper is leaps and bounds above the rest of the candidates. Yes I know national politics is much more complicated than at the state level, but he performed so creditably well as a governor, and that makes him my pick of the bunch. A vote for him is a vote for competence, not sentiment.
