U1 is year 1 of 4 year BSC, so you would need to graduate before you can apply for Pgd/Pgc. Which would be at the end of 4years.

Yes you work 20 hrs like students are allowed to.

I know that visa application fee + biometric fee is $235 which amounts to around #77,000 - #97,000 depending on the exchange rate used.

For admission, many schools accept around $100 - $120 as application fee. This is around #33,200 - #66,000.

Any other fee, I don't know

Also, while some people get their visa application approved in less than 4 months, some have waited for more than 4 months without a decision yet. No one can guarantee the processing time of an application nowadays and no one can guarantee visa approval.

Inyas2015:

This is the University1, one agent preach to me that and he said my visa will be ready in 4 months also I won’t pay any fees not until when I landed in Canada and I can always work when studying cuz he said it came with pgwp
Tho I will pay visa fee, application fee and biometrics and other fee which make up to 350k and when admission is out I will 150k their own service fee…

Hello Elikayvee

Note that this is a study visa thread and not a work Visa thread.. So you will do yourself some good by taking off the mindset of going to Canada to work.

You will have to get your study permit so you can work part-time while you study in Canada.. So read up this part 21 from the 1st page to get useful information that will guide you on how to go about getting a study permit Visa...

You can also read previous parts..

Peace

Hello Osemigho,

Been a while! I agree with you, but neither is Toceen2022 wrong. He said some. Some funding that is given to international students especially if it is a government sponsored like the Kingdom of Saudi, the Chinese Government, etc. COULD come with a clause to return to their country after study. In some situation, some international graduates whose funding have such condition have gotten PRs.

Almost recently, before the pandemic, international students that got funding from Global Affairs Canada were not eligible for the PGWP, with the clause now suspended after gradual ease. Maybe your friend was amongst the beneficiaries.

Respect bro!

Hi bro. I dey here dey learn from others o. You know things change a lot with these IRCC people. Apologies to the person. I missed the word some in the statement.

Good Morning Gurus,

I want to ask some questions concerning my upfront medical.

6 days after I did my medical exam, my profile was updated to "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam" after I sent a web form for my profile to be updated with the emedical slip given to me by the panel clinic.

Days later, My eligibility also changed to "we are reviewing your eligibility..."

My medical is still showing "we are reviewing the results of your medical exam" even after starting eligibility.

Does this mean the clinic has not uploaded my medical exam?
Does it mean I have passed the medical exam and they've proceeded to eligibility?

Did you also get a similar mail where it's stated that you need an upper division?

The DLI starts with Letter “O" not Zero the digit. That might be the mistake you're making.

Thank you for the response. I guess it doesn't apply to an enterprise right? I registered my business myself, it's an enterprise. I only got the certificate, so I was confused when I heard of Memorandum and Articles of Association on this thread.

Hello

Please please help with this.

While filling the imm1294e form, there’s a part that speaks to National identity document, it also asks for issue date and expiry date. The regular NIN slip doesn’t contain this info. Is it okay to leave this blank ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by danbrahim: 8:54am On May 02, 2022
Ketima:

Hello Julmbachu,

One thing in using a 3rd party sponsor is you have to prove beyond doubt why the person(s) have chosen to Sponsor you and what he/she stands to gain from sponsoring you. Also they try to check if the person ever sponsored you or just woke up or morning and decided to sposnor you? Now, is good he/she was your wedding Sponsor, so why would you want to leave that important information out?

So I would advice that you state it clearly in your SOP that he/she have always sponsored you and even sponsored your wedding. Attach wedding card that showed where it is stated he/she is your sponsor, then also attach picture proof (if you have pictures of you, your family and the sposnor at different functions) to solidify your proof. This is just to prove established long term relationship with this sposnor.

Now it happens your sponsor is your MD/CEO and your employer right? Now since the fund is coming from the company account, you will need board of directors letter of authorization, which will state that the board is aware of the Sponsorship and have consented to it.

Also, let your sponsor draft a letter with title "LETTER OF EXPLANATION". In this letter, Let him/her discus this points

1) Why he/she wants to sponsor you?

2) Relationship to applicant and previous sponsorship to applicant. (Why you explain yours in your SOP, this is where your sposnor will now explain his or her own sponsors he/she has rendered to you) please let your own and his/her own explanation not be same (plagiarism) but be explaining same thing. So if you're the one to draft it, let your choice of english be different but mean same thing.

3) How financially stable he/she is. Here, he/she explain how financially stable he/she is to sponsor you without it affecting the business, taking care of his immediate family.

4) What he/she and the company stands to gain from sponsoring you.

Then let him/her conclude the letter with summary of the 4points discussed above (Just summary).

Please since he/she is sponsoring you from the company account, Let him/her notarize this LOE along with sponsorship Letter, sponsorship declaration, board of directors consent letter all typed in company's letter headed paper, sign and stamp where necessary, then send it for notarizing.

Yes you need to attach your statement of accounts, preferably your salary account to show inflows and outflows and not all about sitting balance as you already have sposnor. Payslips, leave letter approval letter, etc

As for the portal to use and apply with, is your choice. I don't encourage anyone to use a preferred one. Both serve same purpose. As per how fast each is, someone by name Semtu applied through the GCKey ( the one applicants here call old portal lol, and got decision so fast that even the ones who applied with the new portal before him/her are still waiting. So the choice is yours. But have one thing in mind, in the new portal, the max size of documents to be uploaded is 2mb while in GCKey is 4mb. So make your choice ok

That's my little opinion. Let others guide you too.

All the best.

Please, house I need help. I'm still new to using this interface, so kindly pardon my errors.

I want to know which of my support documents require notarization. Or is it all the documents for upload that have to be notarized?

Secondly, where is the appropriate place to get a document notarized?

Please all my geeks, mentors, plus the entire house, I need information.

Good day people, please I would be starting my Canada processing soon in general, I would like to ask is it advisable for me to convert my naira into Dollars(USD) or just leave it in naira.

I would just thinking because of the rate at which the value of naira is depreciating. And if I convert to USD and I want to use in Canada will the rate fall?
