Messi dint debut In 2004... he first played in 04/ 05 season but his first game came in a 3.1 win over mallorca or celta vigo i think... been a long time but I watched the game live back then ... his first game came after barca had sealed the 04/05 league title .... then Argentina invited him for the junior world cup that summer... he was on the bench during the beginning of the tournament, then progressed to the starting line up after the first 2 games I think ... all these things I am saying is not Google search , I watched live on TV
