mp3ree:You are lieing to yourself. Igbos will never align with Yorubas untill the Yorubas que behind them to get the presidency even if it's half a term. |
| Re: APC Presidential Ticket: Senators Divided Over Moves To Pick Lawan As Consensus by mach7(m): 4:35pm On May 03, 2022 |
BrutusOj:Yes, that's one major weakness of the South. We are not united. However, if the North conspires to retain power beyond 2023 then the unity of Nigeria viz a viz equal rotation of power between North and South will be called into question. |
| Re: APC Presidential Ticket: Senators Divided Over Moves To Pick Lawan As Consensus by BrutusOj(m): 4:53pm On May 03, 2022 |
mach7:At least the Igbos showed massive interest for presidency this time and they have got credible candidates like the few Yorubas who have been accepted in their region. The best thing that will unite the south and increase their political strength is to agree on power shift among the geopolitical zones that make up south starting with the igbo now. With this, the hausa/fulanis will have no option and can't stop the Igbos from getting the presidency which they have long been clamouring for. All those noise of the north decides who win election is cos the south is not United. A united south will face north squarely. |
