Obi mother's burial ceremony was more like a wedding ceremony..

I witnessed a lot like that..

Don't be surprised that most times, the deceased don't even enjoy half of the luxury pattern they engage in, when he/she was alive than when gone..

I think the Igbos should learn how to honour the dead from my people in the north..

Except the deceased is truly old(let's say 90-100+), he/she should be mourned...

A caged lion was displayed at the burial of popular businessman, Timothy Anyiakaudu Egwuh of Ebe village, Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, on Saturday, IGBERETV reports.

During his lifetime, Egwuh was popularly known by his chieftaincy title, Agu Ndi Igbo (Lion of the Igbo).

A Facebook user identified as Chuks Ezekwe, said the family of Late Timothy Anyiakaudu, decided to honour his title by bringing the caged lion to the burial.

OP,in igbo land. AGU is TIGER while LION is ODUM. And a lion is always stronger than a tiger,maybe that's why they cage the lion.
