It is not a shame, TBF. The Champions League is the Champions League for a reason. One reason Liverpool probably didn't bench or rest players at the weekend must have been because they are two goals up and are playing a team like Villareal. Liverpool as a whole lacked focus in that first half. Yes Villareal was definitely the better team since they could actually create and convert their chances but they still looked extremely shaky in how they moved the ball.
