The spirit tried coming back into that body but the body is already in a very bad unsurvivable state. Worst still it may not be her spirit that entered and staired the body. I just noticed in Nairaland, that only a few read to understand. The story said that the lady ended up dead after the development.

I don't know why people assume that one is dead immediately he/she stop breathing. That's why a woman was buried immediately she was assumed dead. To me, I believe she's still alive just in coma. I believe by the time she wakes up, she would die by the suffocation in the coffin.

There was a woman who happened to be a neighbour, though a Christian. She was confirmed dead meanwhile in 1989, as they were planning on her rites, she woke up hours later. Had she been hurriedly packed, naxo she for miss that chance of living again. She's still alive, now 84 years old.
