The democrats had decades to push for this law to get codified into federal law through the appropriate channels but didn't. Now a another Supreme Court ruling has come overturn Roe v. Wade. You know why? Because supreme court rulings aren't proper legislation.

I'm not in support of this decision, however it is technically correct. It is outside the Judiciary to give abortion guidelines, that is the role of Legislature. They failed to write out into law so the evangelicals in the Court were able to pull this stunt. However, it is still up to the states to decide.

In other words Roe vs Wade created a law.
This question is of utmost importance. Should the SCOTUS create laws or should it interpret the law?

What you described in the first paragraph s how extremism works. There are fringe people who are extreme but you don't allow them to dictate for the majority

IMHO the supreme court work is supposed to decide on the legality of the laws as per the constitution.
Roe vs Wade entered into uncharted territory where it created a law that abortion is a human right. I believe it is not.

While this is true, there is still a case to be made that the foetus inside has a right to life. For that reason tbh, I'm still a bit iffy on late-term abortions. However, at the end of the day, women should be able to make that decision for themselves.

My point is my body my choice. My life my choice. Government cannot also force a woman to nurse a child. She has bodily autonomy which makes it the same situation forcing them to take care of a baby they delivered as well as forcing a man to care for the child when he has no say if the child lives or die based on what the mother of the child wants.

You cannot tell a woman to keep a child but you can tell her to keep the child when it is delivered.

Most women would have decided long before the foetus is viable if they want to abort or not, Ben, and the longer they keep it they more likely they'll get to term as you well should know. Still, if she decides to abort up to the day before she gives birth, then her body her choice, though thankfully democracy does not allow such extremes, but nor should it impose some silly unworkable anything less than 3 - 5 months, is my opinion if you care to know instead of making crap up in your head..
