If all you want is a job, it may take a while, but you just need to be persistent. You could start firstly with networking on LinkedIn, so that you are more visible to recruiters when they search. Then you may want to focus on certifications like the CBAP, if business analytics is more what you are interested in. Then go hard with looking for a job by submitting hundreds of applications. There are a lot of openings for business analytics and even more on data analyst roles. It may take a while, but you will eventually get a job, provided you get those certifications. You could also search for preliminary certifications issued by Microsoft and IBM, etc. in data analysis. These will bolster your applications and may help you secure a job.

I say this because you shouldn't expect to find studying in Canada easy. It is often much more difficult than Nigerian students anticipate. Most Nigerian students are not equipped well enough in Nigeria to study abroad. It can often get very frustrating and tedious. You have to be sure you want to do this.

If you are convinced and you really want to educate yourself, then you could consider going back to school. Starting with a certificate could be a good thing and you could put that on your CV while applying for a masters degree. Many of the universities offer these kinds of co-op or certificate programs which you can apply for and easily get into. These are however not as difficult as the masters program. It may be easier to get into a business analytics masters than it is to get into a data science masters. The latter is more competitive. You may also just consider masters in computer science or statistics which cover pretty much the same syllabus, though on a more fundamental level. If you have PR, it won't be a waste of money as you'll be paying a fraction of international student cost. And in some schools like University of Calgary, I think, getting the diploma in data science may improve your chances of getting admitted into their masters program. There are a few schools like that.

Now, you may also want to keep in mind that while having a masters degree may improve your chances of getting a job, it doesn't automatically guarantee you a job. In fact, you may be surprised that some of your friends who don't do with masters end up with good jobs. You just have to ask yourself why you are taking the masters in the first place.

I'm currently doing the Googles data analytics course and before September I would be through with it.
However, I also want to position myself in a place that has more opportunities. And I feel that a masters degree will give me the most advantage.
Even though I really want to travel to Canada, I also know that I can get admission to study Master's in UK. So I'm kinda confused? Will this diploma be a waste of funds as opposed to just doing a masters in data analytics in UK.

Bros am not in the tech world but u can easily get some answers to your question by going to her youtube channel. u can watch MARINA ESIRI she is a youtuber in canada she brings pple from diffrent field to speak to new and aspiring immigrants. she did one called GETTING INTO TECH THROUGH BUSINESS ANALYSIS IN CANADA. U CAN WATCH IT AND GET SOME CLUES.

I have heard that it is a bit fairer than the black market rate. I am not sure of the rate range.

Try craigslist. I got accommodation from Nigeria using craiglist but you have to make use of VPN to access it.

To get the FRSC letter, You can follow the following steps:

1st step - Send an email with your driver's license details to the FRSC Abuja Office requesting a FRSC letter or driving record.
You are more likely NOT to receive a reply from the FRSC Abuja office.

2nd step- Follow up your email by contacting this Abuja FRSC Employee (Sule - phone number 2348033795031)
Sule will access the FRSC Database and will write for you the FRSC letter.
I was also told that the Service provided by Sule is free of charge . The only money you will send to him is for the shipment of the FRSC letter to

She will need to apply normally like anyone else.

Post AOR means nothing in this case. If you have your PR and/or landed, that might sway their minds.

But as Ednut advised, you/she would need to satisfy the visa officer that your mum meets the requirements of the visitor visa.
