Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Kayode Fayemi and Minister of of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola are currently in Lagos for the All Progressives Congress South West stakeholders meeting currently ongoing in Lagos.

Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Olusegun Osoba called the meeting to last week to meet presidential aspirants under APC Platform from South West.

Governors Gboyega Oyetola Dapo Abiodu, Rotimi Akeredolu, Dr. Iyiola Omisore are also present.

Sources told WesternPost that the Vice President had sent in an advanced security to sweep the State House Marina claiming he was not sure of his security at the place.

Vice President Osinbajo arrived the venue of the meeting with Ogbeni Aregbesola in same vehicle.

Tinubu and his supporters too take this "mandate" serious as if it's a birthright, inheritance or a favour-for-favour thing.

They forget that it's the President of Nigeria we are talking about. Something tells me someone somewhere will pip them all to their games. I don't know who, but I won't rule anybody out....especially that cunning snake GYB!

The age where people died for their ideologies and defended them well has long been superseded by the age of mock outrage and corruption.

While these politicians might seem to dislike one another from one perspective, in reality many of them are friends.

Granted, some stunts will “permanently” make the friend status a nonstarter, most of these politicians go to the same social events and have parties where they host each other and a lot of other governmental elites, it’s just that we aren’t privy to that facet of their lives.

On one side these politicians are:

Trashing each other on stage
Bringing up claims of corruption
Debating with personal attacks
On the other they’re

Attending social events such as weddings and birthdays
Casually comparing each other’s successes
Investing in each other’s businesses
If there was political value in actually distancing themselves from their competitors or for burning bridges with the opposing party, than there would be a completely different story happening here, but that isn’t the case and these people don’t hate each other. They might not love each other, but I wouldn’t discount neutral respect or a quick fling when the feeling presents itself grin
