Please any ideas on how to solve these questions, I am tired and confused. Please help!!!! embarassed

40*8=320
3*5=15
Add 320+15=335/2=167.5= 170

For 1st sample.
25/5 = 5
2*2 = 4
3*3 = 9
(4 + 9)*5 = 65

For 2nd sample.
50/10 = 5
6*6 = 36
4*4 = 16
(36 + 16)*5 = 260

1. 7÷3 =2 +remainder 1 =3
2.8÷3=2+remainder 2 =4
3. 4÷2=2 +remainder 0=2[/color][color=#000099]

This one is better. I am looking at it

Simply add the sum of (i) b mod a and (ii) whole number part when b divides a

Example if b = 7 and a=5

7 mod 5 = 2

7÷ 5 = 1 ² / ₅ .

Add the sum of 2 and 1 in bold. This gives you 3

Do this for other examples.

I will solve other examples when I get home
