The Devil,once a righteous angel,but now a fallen angel and an enemy of God and righteousness has vowed never to end up in Hell alongside his demons,alone. He is working extra hard to bring as many millions and millions of human to share his eternal damnation with him,using a diverse array of methods and weapons.
The devil works with his demons to bring many humans under their control and ultimately push them to eternal damnation.
He is more powerful and dangerous to us today,than he was during the time of the early Church.As the End approaches, the power of the devil will grow so strong and overwhelming, only a few will survive.

1.He is able to possess and opress more humans today than ever before: The devil has mandated millions of demons to attack,manipulate and possess millions today.He's still on it, manipulating humans to commit crimes,spread wickedness all around, and try to destabilize the Church.He releases all manner of spiritual attacks on those he manipulates and tries to keep them from the Way of Righteousness.
2.He has more servants today in human form_ The devil and his demons can sit around and make all manner of plans,but without a human vessel, those plans are useless and avail nothing.
So he needs human vessels or agents.He knows this,so he earnestly seeks and acquires human agents to help implement his evil plans.
That's where witches,wizards, occultists, sorcerers and co come into play.
The devil uses them to spread destruction and iniquity throughout the human world.
3.He has another 2,000 years of experience warring against man on the planet_The devil has studied Man closely ever since the Fall in the Garden of Eden,and has gathered much experience as to human nature.
He has known exactly what to do, to push them in the right direction to destruction. He knows humans are often consumed by self interest, complacency, pride,vanity,vainglory, and utilizes these feelings to nudge humans to destruction.
4.Through his continued scientific research in the spirit realm,he has continued to advance his earthly and spiritual realm.He has scientific laboratories in the spirit realm where research and inventions are carried out day and night,against both God and Man.

I am afraid you are wrong. Jesus Christ said what causes men to sin comes from that they have stored up in their hearts - lies which are against God's Truth - Matthew 15 vs 10 - 20 . And when one has lies stored up in one's heart. It means one is of the devil and not of God.

Once he tempts a person and he or she falls to his temptation, the next thing is to fill such a man's heart with what God's hates making it difficult for the person to be saved that is why Jesus says "If the good man will have know the hour which the thief cometh he or she will have watched and not suffered his house to be broken through". That is why he admonished his followers to watch and pray lest they fall into temptation.

Just as Job resisted the Satan when he was tested by him, so also every man is held responsible for his every choice.
