The new military government believed that Nkurumah had stocks of gold and monies hidden in foreign banks which Nzeribe claimed he could help them to recover. IBB and the northern muslim gang never wanted to handover to civilians,if they wanted,no court injunction could've stopped him.Its as simple as that.
