NIGERIAN NAVY SHIP KADA pays a courtesy call to South Africa on her maiden voyage.

The Nigerian Navy’s newly acquired Landing Ship Tank (NNS KADA) embarked on her maiden voyage from UAE to Nigeria.

South Africa was one of the many ports on her passage where the NNS KADA’s Ships Company came alongside for some recuperation and recreation (R&R).

During the visit to Cape Town over the period 3 to 7 May 2022, Officer Commanding of NNS KADA, Captain R.O. Adoki paid a courtesy call to the South African Navy’s Flag Officer Fleet at the Fleet Command Headquarters in Simon’s Town.

Other activities embarked on during their visit, including a friendly volleyball match between the two navies at the Wynberg Military Sports complex, as well as a Cocktail Function onboard NNS KADA.

So, from the Nigerians here, why do you think your government adopted the stance it did? Why, with all the knowledgeable facts did they vote the way they did on those 3 occasions? Why can't I find any public explanation of their shifting stance? Last, in the absence of opinion survey data, what is your sense of public opinion on the issue?

Nigeria followed the policy of the AU in voting yes to condemn the Russian ‘s invasion.
Nigeria followed her own interest to abstain .
So did 50 other Countries in the World.
Nothing earth shattering about that.

More photos of Congolese T-55s. Probably the most easiest vehicle to find next to Toyota Land Cruisers. A lot of them were deployed against M23 rebels and a few were even captured. Later on most, if not all, were destroyed by FARDC. They continue to be used, but in more limited scale.

The TB-2 weren't playing reconnaissance this time... Russia lost a TOR system among others in this attack ..
This article could be a propaganda or otherwise, we would never know until the war ends.

But for sake of interest what if there was a strike group in toto or a strike group with a sub group to act as decoys or a strike group with a sub group as probing elements to draw out defences etc etc

QRF deployed under MONUSCO underwent similar pre-deployment training in Jungle like environment around Mount Kenya Forest at Kangaita.

Absolutely. They're both sides of the same coin. Id prefer to see verifiable pictures or footage, similar to what Oryx is doing on Twitter.

Going by Russian statements, the military has downed over 250% of UKR's TB-2's. I mean, we've seen preexisting TB-2 wreckage recycled and relocated for another set of pictures.

On the other side, we've seen the Ghost of Kiev that supposedly shot down 40 VKS planes (lol) and the last stand of the soldiers of Snake Island which were found out to be hale and hearthy

Am not Nigerian but I thought you should also consider that..every resolution to be adopted was different from the other...making them
to have different "weights".. e.g voting Russia out of the Humanitarian council was different from Voting to Condemn the Russian agression in Ukraine.
Thus not all abstentions were equal.

The approach of the Naval Dockyard Limited in building vessels for the Navy is exemplary. We are building more classes of ships as SDB 3 in other to horn our ship building skills. Once SDB 4 and 5 are built and delivered, we can now look at larger vessels of 60 meters and above.
