It's a mash of psychopathology, eroticism, body horror.
There were times I didn't understand WTF was going on. Pretty much weird and unusual style of storytelling.

I watched the movie cos I heard there were erotic scenes...turned it there were only a few...

**The Cleansing Hour**

It was a lot of fun, a little cheesy, a little self-deprecating, and genuinely suspenseful. It had some flaws; some cringey moments, (some) distractingly bad effects, and it dragged a little towards the end, and I wasn't a huge fan of the final twist, but those are minor quibbles considering how entertaining the film was.
