Pls is memorial college advisable to apply for ?
I’m looking for one of the cheapest school to apply for a one year masters program
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by DestinationCann: 10:36am On May 14, 2022
Of course he can't give you log in details to his IRCC profile.
You can send webforms and mails though if you have your application number and UCI.

Licensed agents hardly raise webforms and the rest, mine didn't upload my medicals, he said the hospital will forward to IRCc and IRCC will update.

My advice, don't bother yourself about trying to see the progress of the whole thing, it can be depressing, do other things.

nk20:

Exactly, that’s the issue with mine too. He is a licensed agent and he has refused to give me login details said he has other people application there too. And he is not even bothered with the delay in my application. So like this I can’t send mails or webcam to ircc because I don’t even have any of my information

Thank you so much

DestinationCann:
Lawyer or licensed agent?
If you used a licensed agent, you cannot get a login details to your application.

He definitely used his IRCC portal that has several other applications on it.

Wait it out.

Sue him for what please?
That he refused to give him his RCIC login details?

ShowYoung:

A lawyer is not above the law.

If you don't want to sue him, you can go on with your UCI number and application number. That's all you need to reapply or find out what happened (order your GCMS notes)

Please help clarify if schools in Canada also requires GMAT or GRE for post graduate program.
I just culled this from University of Alberta for one of their phd program "Minimum Admissions Requirements
GMAT or GRE score: All applicants must submit their scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Your scores should be in the 80th percentile to be competitive. There are no exceptions to this requirement."

Check the admission process... most of the graduate courses get decisions after application deadline and a few get decisions on a rolling basis.

Is there any October applicant yet to get a feedback?

I was told to upload my passport data page since the one I submitted will expire by Aug. I couldn't do the upload at the date they gave me so I sent a letter explaining the reason why I couldn't upload because of booklet issue.
Last week, I eventually got my renewed passport and I uploaded it via Webform. And I also send a mail.
I was really hoping that this week will be better.
Since October, the wait and refreshing of mail is far from interesting

Hello shankeybee

You said you have sent several webforms to IRCC without any response and also no feedback from VFS for months now..

Note that until Biometrics is done, an application wont be attended to by the IRCC Immigration officers. So its safe to withdraw the application and re-apply..

And if you wanna keep waiting for a response from IRCC, that is also okay..

The choice is yours..

Peace
shankeybee:
Good day all,
Please in a situation whereby appointment for biometrics was booked twice by one applicant. What is the best way to be attended to by vfs for biometrics?
As the applicant was not attended to on the scheduled date to be captured and was told they would have to contact IRCC before she can be captured, as a result of her booking twice.
It's been over a months now and no feedback has been gotten. Several webforms has also been raised.
Is it advisable to just withdraw the application and reapply again or just wait for a feedback from IRCC @makano @omiinii @frankrobbn1 @anon123 @destinationcann @centennialguy

Hi, Please what or where did you about UCW's not glowing track record.
I have heard this before, but when I googled, I saw these:
- At UCW, 88% of MBA graduates secure a job within three months of graduation.
- 100% of MBA graduates have secured a job within six months of graduation.
- Free practical workshops that include networking skills and personal branding are taught by the university.
- 67% of MBA graduates at UCW have secured a job within a month of graduation.

Osemigho:

MBA is better if money is no issue. UCW has easier MBA admission, but their track record/history may not be glowing.

Hello Julmbachu

Company sponsorship takes alot of convincing though..

The company will have to let the Visa Officer know why its sponsoring you for your studies(What makes you special than other employees). Also the company will also convince the Visa Officer that sponsoring your studies in Canada wont in any way affect the financial capacity of the company on other financial responsibility i.e comfortably paying the Salary of other employees and other company financial responsibilities..

And yes, you will need to do a Deed of Gift for any money sent to you by the company..

Peace
Julmbachu:

Thanks a lot sir for your input. Now my sponsor(my employer) is ready to send the remaining tuition fees & living expense to my account. When he sends the money, should he do a gift deed or tag it complete funds towards the company’s sponsorship for my studies in Canada? And as regards home ties, I submitted my children’s birth certificates & dt of my husband, my employment letter, promotion letter, the bond I signed with my employer. However, the VO talked about insufficient financial stability, pls what documents should I use to convince the VO as regards ds? Thanks a lot sir for your assistance

For some Programs and some schools most especially FINANCE RELATED PROGRAMS e.g MBA, ACCOUNTING etc. you need GRE/GMAT

Thank you for taking out time to reply. The person 's 1st and 2nd degrees is Computer Science and Information Technology respectively and worked in the last 5years in the IT department of a bank. The person desires a management position and plans to setup his company in the future , hence he applied to study graduate diploma in Business Administration. Any green light

In fact, there is a green light if the reason is beyond reasonable doubt.

It depends on how you defend yourself in your SOP.

Chikajoe:
Hello guys,
I’m new on here as I was advised by a friend to visit nairaland for help on my Canada student permit application. I’m a civil servant working for 3 years already as facility management Officer with my highest qualification as a specialist diploma in civil and industrial engineering from a Russian university. I got admission at New Brunswick Community College to a PG Diploma certificate program in Applied Energy Management for (September) Fall 2022, it is 1 year program with program. I received admission on the 29 Apr 2022 and I’m yet to submit my study permit application. I have paid my non-refundable confirmation fee of $500CAD, I’m yet to pay my tuition fees although I have proof of funds from my sister though she is married with kids. I need help to at least know my chances of getting my application approved? From the thread I see the application process taking about 4-6 months, would it be wise to defer my admission to Jan 2023 so I have enough time to obtain my study permit before resumption of the classes for the program? I would appreciate someone that can offer guidance though this process?

Thank you guys in anticipation.

Don't defer your admission now: quickly submit your application now, if by the end of August you haven't been given visa, you can then defer.
