Good day Nairaland family.Hope we are doing well.

Congratulations to all PPR recipients, and a big thank you to all the good hearted people in the house, contributing in one way or the other...God bless!.

Pls, I have a question;
I believe admission for undergraduates into "Fall Semester" is currently ongoing, pls how long will my visa processing take if I apply this month, and what would I be needing.

When you say "Fall Semester", did you mean Fall 2022 or Fall 2023?

Most of the colleges and universities are preparing to resume for Fall 2022; although there may still be few of them still offering admission for Fall 2022 though.

My suggestion is if you are able to secure admission for Fall (Sept.) 2022 or Winter (Jan) 2023 (best option) now, you may be able to begin your study visa application now.

Also, do not underrate admission process, it may be rigorous and laborious. Some colleges and universities don't offer admission on a rolling basis but once a year.

PPR Alert!

Second application.
Old Portal.
Deferred admission to Fall (September)

Application submitted: December 31, 2021
Raised webform: February 21, 2022
GCMS requested: February 23, 2022
No update on application till...
Response to webform: March 21, 2022
Eligibility started: March 21, 2022
Ghost updates: March 23, 2022
Medical updated to pass: March 25, 2022
BVL: March 29, 2022
PPR: March 30, 2022

Thanks to everyone that responded to my questions when I got the previous denial. I sent multiple emails to JustMellow and he was so helpful and very responsive, gave detailed analysis to the doubts I had, I'm super grateful.

So, I did my biometrics in Lagos, how do I go about sending my passport?

Also, I just realized that my current passport expires in January 2023 and I plan to send that for stamping. But I dont know if that will be a problem seeing that my classes start in September. Since I have a few months before resumption, can I renew my passport here in Nigeria? The renewed passport will not have the stamp, so I'm confused on what to do.

How do I handle this situation so I won't need to request for a new visa when I enter canada?
Please advise.

HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hi everyone,
I am new here, please I have a 2.2 in Microbiology BSc and am looking for a post graduate diploma college and course related to my field. (Admission friendly ones).

I intend to apply to at a least three colleges, I only have one now which is (Centennial college- Advanced Diploma Biotech). Other colleges offer just “Ontario College Diploma in Biotechnogy ) and from all I have read on this trend I understand I need a post graduate Diploma admission m.
Please people in my field or gurus on here, which colleges and courses is good for me. I am tired of searching, I only keep seeing Ontario College Diploma, or should I just settle for it.

Hello everyone,

Can I use another email address to book for biometrics since I can't book online because it's showing I've exceeded my maximum allowed of appointments?

Thanks

Good day all,
Please I need a few questions answered.
After the online submission do we need to submit hard copy of what was submitted online to VFS?
Does one need to wait for IRCC before going for biometrics

Banks with low customer base are usually preferable for FORM A Payment.
I will advise you use union Bank.

Hello Nikki,

If I'm resident in Lagos or abuja, would I submit directly to the Visa Application Centre or must I use the delivery service.

Secondly, I've seen one or 2 posts suggesting that the Abuja centre is faster. Have you noticed this too?
