Death on the Nile 2022

I've seen maybe ten films that have used this storyline in the last five years, so let me not dwell on how basic the plot is and instead place more emphasis on the conveyance, that appears to be what I'll be doing from now on. This film required a lot of effort all round, you could tell and that is one of the perks of entrusting a massive budget to individuals who have a coherent sense and know what they're doing. Everything is in harmony and appears to have been placed there on purpose even the tiniest things contribute to the overall picture.

The first 45 minutes are leisurely, and the last 25 minutes are frantic. But, it makes sense when you put yourself in the shoes of those crooks and consider how quickly they were compelled to formulate fresh plans and cover their tracks. Also, when filmmakers create films with an atypical setting (something that does not ensue in the present day and time), they tend to start the film slowly to lure you into the picture they have drawn. Other films with this theme include The Batman and DUNE. If they execute everything well by your standards, it will be a lovely place to live for the next 90-120 minutes.

The acting is above average, but not on the level of an Oscar nomination. What I will commend is their accent and dialog, a good amount of effort went into it and it paid off. However, I have to fall back to the plot and subtract points. It's completely predictable, and I've actually seen films with a lower budget tell the story better. It's a murder mystery with a crime-solving plot, and the protagonist is a detective (like knives out movie). However, you'll be able to figure out who the criminal is inside the first 15 minutes. In addition, I don't buy the way they drew the conclusion. There are numerous plot holes and I am left with burning questions. If I'm being generous it's a seven. You can't offer an overused plot in a realistic manner? What fuckery.

While I'm an advocate for taking risks...when you take risks, things have to add up ...

Knives Out on the other hand took risks but failed miserably in my opinion
