Inflation is driven by increase in money supply, increase in velocity of money, increase in demand, or by supply chain issues

Most of the inflation we are seeing is due to Supply Chain issues (Covid followed by War).

Neither of these have anything to do with Govt budgets. Taxation is just a way to reduce Govt deficit, not really linked to inflation.

Govt expenditure does not necessarily increase inflation. Depends on the money supply and velocity at the time. eg in a recession, Govt expenditure will be used to stimulate the economy back into life, not cause inflation

When govt prints money and injects it into the economy the money supply goes up. If the money injected lands directly into citizen accounts like what happened during covid inflation rates go up.
When govt is spending too much money on social stipends and printing money , inflation goes up.communists believe gov should cater to the whims of citizens.
