javaguru:Was Jonathan picked as Vice Presidential candidate because of any achievement as deputy Governor or as Governor of Bayelsa after DSP Alamieyeseigha was impeached? Jonathan was picked amongst all the SouthSouth politicians because a mild mannered Yar Adua needed to have a very weak mannered deputy. Infact, Governor DSP Alams picked him for the same docility. Jonathan was the typical deputy who was never supposed to be a principal.
