Planning on getting my first car soon. Budget is 3-4m. What will be your recommendations pls

OP, whatever you buy, make sure it's not a Corolla because that overrated toy-car is for sad boys.

Best choice Sedans are;

1. Lexus ES 350, 2010 upwards
2. Toyota Camry 2010 upwards.
3. Honda Accord. 2012 Upwards.

I am in similar shoes, looking to get my first ride. I have been watching a lot of reviews on the toyota camry lately and I am really glad to hear from experienced users. Seems toyota camry 2010/2011 is a great buy for foreign used. I admire the SE of these models

As your first car buy either, Corolla 2010, Camry 2011, Honda Accord 2011 or Lexus ex 330 2006. These are fairly easy cars to maintain

The SE is the Sport Edition, expect super performace, steady balance on speed and great handling. The LE is the Limited Edition with very limited options and only basic performance. (The XLE is the Luxury Limited Edition with luxurious or royalty features)

Choosing your 1st car to buy, you have to put a lot of things into consideration, like maintenance. Maintenance is very important. Also resale value, just incase you decide to sell to upgrade. What you’ll use the car for, is it a daily drive ? If you the type that’s always on the road and so on

Not always on road.. Probably only for weekends activities, church, within town errands.. Shikina!!!

very very wrong Sir, LE mean luxury edition NOT limited edition with limited option,some rate LE above SE,they debate that till date,what the SE has over LE is the little extra HP,that more sporty looks the added or padded bumpers(note in Corolla's case its just the padded bumpers no extra HP).

Tokunbo/foreign used cars cost a lot more than 2m/2.5m. An average civic/corolla/camry starting from the year 2005 cost almost 3m for a clean Tokunbo.

So if you are not always on the road, and you need a good car that’s easy to maintain, the Honda Civic, corolla and uhmm camry got you. I think Corolla is the king of them all, they say you can never go wrong with the corolla

Matrix is a good choice as well, uses the same engine with corolla.
2006 camry also good too. Both cars you mention are perfect and easy to maintain. Wondering why I didn’t think of matrix sef.

Buy a 2014 Camry, XlE, 4plugs (6plugs consumes too much fuel) and you would never regret it.

This I have seen.

Here's my take sir..
It's best to play it safe for a first car, moreso when you're working on a budget.
As much as I don't fancy very much moving with the crowd, you're safer with a Toyota or a Honda..
The Corolla, Camry and Accord are proven car's in terms of maintenance and durability.
So until you hit your jackpot or you discover your gold mine, I'll advice that you play it safe.

Get a Camry 07-010. Easy maintenance! But do not use this car for any kind of maneuver! A word is enough for the wise

I think you should go for CARoline.

With urgent 10k, you can get as many as possible.
