That was context to the Tara Reade question, regardless I don't usually weigh into these things, when Andrew Cuomo matter we all waited for it to be investigated and end of the day there was a conclusion, nobody rushed to defend him.

No, you did not criticize him like you are critical about musk. It shows you bias, it shows you don't care. You said they didn't go to court... Remember Bill Clinton and what his accusers went through?? It was even harder to speak out in those days.

Also, today they take innocent people to court as well. Your they didn't go to court talk does not make sense. Reade had evidence that cnn needed made to disappear. You didn't say anything, back then it was all political attack your base was saying, no one was listening to the woman, they covered everything up... So whether Elon musk paid or not, it does not matter, the people who are accusing him don't care if anyone abuse a woman, as long as they are in the right party.

The fact remains that you can settle or of court because you don't want an accusation to become a public spectacle. Jian Ghomeshi lost his job and reputation although it was later proven in court that his accusers were being deceitful. As a CEO and public face of a company, stuff like that can affect stock prices. So no, an out of court settlement is NOT necessarily an admission of guilt. We still don't know whether he did it or not.
