Ah. You would need a proof that your uncle and mom are related na.

ItzRay:
Its the first time he's sponsoring me and i didn't attach any photo(s) taken with him.
By relationship between him and my mum, do you mean his birth certificate?

Edakun ,

Can someone send the link to the details of How to use form A to pay tuition.
I’ve checked the first page of the thread , can’t find it.

I need details on how to use form A cos my school send a fly wire link for payment not a swift code.

I'll have him transfer the second year tuition fee to me cos the first year tuition fee is down already.
Thanks for your reply, i appreciate.

Uzoamaka123:
I don’t know much though but from what I’ve seen here ; the person ought to show commitment by transferring your living expenses to your account, or tuition deposit or even both to show commitment. This isn’t compulsory but it’s just to clear the VO’s doubt that money won’t be available for your study and it’s just for demonstrative purpose.

That’s my opinion though.
To address your reapplication, if he can transfer your full tuition to you or pay to school directly and send you LE for first year. .

I think that shows enough commitment.

Wait for gurus in the house to add .

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ItzRay(m): 1:58am On May 21, 2022
No i didn't submit his birth cert.
I submitted my own, siblings birth cert. & my mum's birth cert.

Teezkid:
Yes. His birth certificate, or any ways for them to know he is related to you
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ItzRay(m): 2:06am On May 21, 2022
Yes, most of the documents from him were notarised except the bank statement
Yes he paid my sch fees once while in sch but he didn't do it himself, he just sent the money to me then and i paid it myself.
The fixed deposit housing proof of funds isn't a bad idea...i'll look into it too.
Thanks for your reply.

cooooooks:
There needs to be a binding document tying the uncle to ItzRay.

Was the letter from the uncle notarized? Has the uncle paid your fees before? Could your uncle take out an affidavit? Could a specific fixed deposit be opened?

In my case, my dad kept a fixed deposit of cash for proof of funds.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ItzRay(m): 2:08am On May 21, 2022
Yeah i'll attach his birth certificate when i'm reapplying.
Thanks

Thank you

My sponsor was a third party (my mum's brother)

*I submitted his 6 months statement of account.
*Letter of sponsorship by him.
*Bank reference letter on his behalf stating that the account is his own.
*His business transaction invoices cos he's not a salary earner but a business man.
*His tax clearance certificate.
*His CAC business certificate.
*Affidavit of sponsorship by him.
*His international passport.
*His business i.d.

Same documents, but add

1. Pictures of you and him. It will be good if you have 3-4 over the years. Add one that includes your mum if available.

2. His Birth certificate and your mum birth certificate to show they share parents.

3. Receipt of part or full tuition payment by him.

4. Table of contents that list all the documents and their pages.

In your letter of explanation, add a paragraph or section that explains your relationship with him (add one more Pictures of you with him) and his pledge and commitment to your program. All the best.

Good morning all,

I just received my GCMS notes and it seems much hasn't been done since November 15th, 2021. The info sharing says "complete" what does that mean?
Thank you!

Thank you Boss @JustMellow for this write up.

Intended 3rd party is jot a family member, no much of a strong relationship unless few pix which was recently. No educational, financial or economic support...

Intended sponsor lives in UK but visits 9ja at least once or twice a year. So no old picture of any kind.

Tuition fee and living expense can ve arranged to come from Sponsor and PA can also show some level of economic establishment as PA currently owns a registered business as a food vendor with 7yrs experience in the financial industry (resigned).

Do you think there are chances this will fly? Just a little more advice or boost.

Sent u a PM please check

More suggestion is needed @everybody.
Thank you

Hello Favouriteguy,

A new photo can also be used. Anything you do, the proof of relationship and financial commitment should be well demonstrated. Being able to help the VO understand the obligations of the third-party sponsor toward your self-development/well-being places your application in better chances.

Best of Luck

Noo, it is only for those whose PGWP expires between Jan - Dec 2022. Don't confuse it to be a regular occurrence, they've already specified the period. They didn't say it'll continue after December 2022.
The PGWP rules for program's duration still continue.

Like 2 hrs approx. (For IOM, IKEJA, LAGOS).
It all depends on the time you are attended to.

I was at IOM, IKEJA, LAGOS today for my upfront. my appointment was for 9am, I got there 9:04am and started off immediately 9:04am - 2pm, I was done and out of the place. Please bear in mind that the whole processing depends on availability of people already in line but all in all Canada medicals is not as bad as UK and some other countries. You might even finish in 2-3hours if you get there early enough, but please eat before going or get something to snack on, cause as I no listen, hunger wire me well well. I hope this helps.

Hello house, Good evening to you all.

My Canada study permit application was refused around first week of April after waiting for 5 months (November applicant). I ordered for my GCMS notes the next day and it came out last week.
Please i need urgent help, explanations and suggestions from you all on how to tackle the reasons for the refusal as i'm preparing to reapply again by May ending or first week in June because my admission is still valid for September 2022.

Also i want to know if i should inform my school about the refusal? Or should i just go ahead and reapply again?
Attached is the GCMS note with reasons stated by the V.O. for the refusal.

Thanks as i await suggestions and options from y'all.
It'll end in praise.

Hello Scott99tish,

The targeted group of international students is the graduates whose Post-graduation work experience was disrupted by the pandemic, preventing most international graduates to acquire Canadian work experience.

Some of the affected groups whose PGWP will be expiring between January and December 2022 are favourites to be eligible. The public policy does not affect or stop international students from taking a second one-year program. The PGWP eligibility of the 1 + 1 program study remains valid.

One love!

September is still 3 months and 2 weeks away, so personally, I'll say you don't need to inform the school. If you can apply asap and address the VO's concerns, you may get final decision within a month.
