Indeed. What has 'changed' from the last regime. I just pity those who queued in the sun and rain to bring this calamity of a government crashing down upon their heads. Now they are fighting each other to bring yet another plague in the name of elections in 2023. Instead of asking the rudimentary question.... what is the point of democracy and if we choose it, how does it make our lives better?, how does it take us from this cage of a country to at least the wilderness... Only a foolish congregation of people calling themselves citizens will continually make the same mistakes and expect a better experience. Folks, only restructuring can save this country. Restructure first, then democracy will be an ally in progress, a versatile tool in quest for development. Till then and I repeat, I will not waste my time registering for a PVC or dream of approaching a polling station on the so called election day to vote..... vote who? My conscience will not allow me to attempt empowering these vermin I see in the corridors of power. For to empower anyone that cannot be controlled is tantamount to suicide. And democracy is all about your ability to control those you empower. Without restructuring you CAN NEVER control them. 4 Likes |
