Being Too Friendly Will Only Make You Lose Your Respect by Nobody: 4:44pm On May 21, 2022

I have always known this but because of my good heart I still ignore but I have learned a lesson. There’s this over 40 years old man who doesn’t have self respect that lives in my compound. This guy is such a loser, even his soon to be wife has no respect or regard for him. He doesn’t carry himself with any pride at all. At first I was just being friendly and because of this old fool, ladies who held me in high esteem started grading me with him at the same level. He made me go out to smoke openly in public and most people in my area started looking at me like a riff raff. I watch football matches on my Pc and phone but out of kindness I usually follow this man to watch ball in a beer Palour and next thing he will get drunk and start saying rubbish. When we usually leave together, people started to rate me at his level. Small gin of 50 naira and this fool will get high like a goat.

Anytime I’m on call this man will disregard the fact I’m having an important discussion and still be banging on my window, just to say something stupid after. I have started ignoring his entire existence, still he has refused to leave me alone....I only blame my good heart, but never again.

If you're truly a good friend and neighbor, it's in your position to help him. Some people are that way due to the people they mingled with while growing up.

You followed him to go smoke in public and you came here to castigate him.
You can help him reorient his life considering his age and let him understand he shouldn't be doing some certain things.

Hey, I smoke in the public all the time. But, I have money; It's very hard to make people with money look bad. Even, when I look bad, I'm still attractive.

In my street, people respect me so much cos they hardly see me, I mind my business and of course I ain't broke (thanks be to God)

One guy I recently began talking to, one day told me that our last born who is naturally very social like that because guys are already fucking her, a girl who is always in boarding school and he was just seeing for the second time. Told him months later after I kept ignoring him that he had the audacity to say such to me because we laugh and that was the end.
