You are correct. This was still highlighted at the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) Public Lecture which I attended yesterday. We are now the 8th poorest country in the world, with unemployment at a record high since the birth of Nigeria, and real GDP at the the lowest!
If you have the means to do so legitimately, move out of this country. There's nothing here for the next generation, at least from my humble observation.
