Chief Anthony Anenih did not do much in terms of infrastructure but he raised alot of leaders in Esan land.Mike ononlemhemhen,Friday itulah, Anthony Egbadon,Odi okojie,Odion and Akhere Ugbesia,Frank okiye,prof julius okojie,senator clifford ordia,Senator osariemhen osunbor,Chief Ulinfoh,Joefel,Francis Inegbeneki and many other Esan political leaders were all raised from the scratch to where they are today.In terms of giving jobs,no leader from Esan land can come close to what tony Anenih did.I can name more than 20 graduates i know that were giving jobs by Chief Anthony Anenih.

I will advise that you shut up instead. You obviously are not from Edo. No Esan (not just Uromi) Son says anything bad about the Anenihs. Anenih remains a gift to Esan land and the average Esan person sees him as such. You could be lynched if you were to say this in Uromi town. Be careful please.


Anenih is highly loved and respected in Esan. His son not winning has nothing to do with the father, but his own pedigree, in that, he might not be well known. Esan people will not vote for you, based on your fathers record, but based on your own personal record and how accessible you are

Let's be honest, Anenih nor try as minister. Benin-Lagos road was at it's worst in 25 years when he was minister. That road was among FG's roads to be renovated. He didn't try. Lots of money was embezzled as usual. He did get his cronies into positions such Elder Ugbesia. But on ground, he didn't try. Lots of Uromi people believe that he didn't use his closeness to OBJ to bring development Uromi/Agbazilo.

As for state and local govt roads, he had to mandate for those.
