Are you aware that, In the current global landscape, the UK is still a big hitter, providing boundless opportunities for graduates with the relevant qualification, skills and willingness to work hard?

So,

If you are planning to stay and work in the UK once your studies are completed, then you will be joining thousands of students each year who, having worked hard to build up their skills, knowledge, and qualifications, and have made the ultimate decision to start their new career in the UK using the Tier 2 (Otherwise known as the Skilled Workers Visa)

What is the Tier 2 / Skilled Workers Visa?

The Tier 2 visa route allows graduate students or skilled workers from outside of the European Economic Area with a job offer to work in the UK on a long-term basis. This automatically gives Nigerians the opportunity to stay back permanently in the UK to work.

Advantages of switching to Skilled Workers Visa from a Student Visa

. Ability to stay in the UK after your studies
. Visa holders can bring dependents on the visa
. Spouse is allowed to work on the visa
. No limits on the number of graduates who can switch to it.
. Minimum salary requirement has been reduced to £25600 from threshold of £30000
. Fast Track Visas will be provided for healthcare professionals.
. Finally earning an income after many years of hard study
. Can lead to Indefinite Leave to Remain after 5 or 6 years
. Your dependants can study full time or work full time in the UK
. The employer doesn’t need to complete a Resident Labour Market Test which can involve expensive advertising for the employer

The opportunities are fantabulous, thereby making the UK one of the best study destinations to consider in recent years.

Hello, How easy you get a work visa after studies would depend on so many factors. One of such factors is how relevant the course you studied is in the country you are looking to work in.

I thought it depends on the course that one studied - more attention to STEM courses
