More Georgians went to the polls during the 2022 primary elections early voting period than ever before, according to the Secretary of State’s Office.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced over the weekend that the three-week voting period saw voters show up in record numbers.

In total, 857,401 Georgians cast their ballots ahead of election day. Nearly 93% of those ballots were cast in person. The remaining 7% were cast absentee.

The Secretary of State’s office says these numbers show a 168% increase in early voting turnout from the last gubernatorial primary in 2018 and 212% increase from the last presidential primary in 2020.

I am tired of the back n forth. All I know is that the suppression tactics by the GOP in Georgia would backfire spectacularly and I love it. Voter turnout in GA in 2022 and 2024 is going to be insane and there are no laws Republicans can pass that is going to stop it.

I don't think he's that mad. If he was he would have flattened Kyiv with non-nuclear missiles, civilians and all, and not care about the international condemnation. Baba still wants Russia to play in the International markets. And I don't think there are many hardliners that will make it worse either, except a very selfish person only interested in their pocket who doesn't care about the economic fate of the country. Most of those guys will want their money, properties and freedom of travel back.

I guess you were under a rock when he announced over a month ago that he will release 100m barrels - 1m a day to help cushion the price of crude, from the stock of 1bln barrels. To be foolish is one thing, to be foolish and not know it is another. The strategic reserve is for times of war like this.
