Hello Niralanders, Please what steps do i need to take to empty my Pension Account with Stanbic Ibtc.

I am told its till i am 50 i can do so, and only 25% of the money can be given to me. ( my own money o ).

I Plan on relocating, and need the money, who can push me in the right direction.

Go and swear affidavit that you are now 50years and submit to them grin

U cannot collect all your pensions even when u retire. That's how sad the Nigerian Pension scheme is

There is nothing sad about it. That law was made for a reason.

Most retirees will blow any money you give them therefore this condition was put to reduce the chances of that happening and ensure that they have something to fall back on!

You must understand that the said money was contributed both by your organisation with the highest portion and you. It's kept for your retirement, so you only access 25 per with proof that you have been out of job for atleast 3 months. So stop eyeing that money.

I mean people who have retired either through age or number of years in service will still not get all even after waiting for 3 months?
