Peter Obi resigning from the PDP shows everything that is wrong with our politics. I would have been surprised if he got up to 10 votes in the primary cos I'm sure he's not ready to spend a dime in buying delegates. I don't blame our politicians for being corrupt, all Nigerians are corrupt. If you know how much these politicians have to spend to bribe delegates, voters, and pay agents just to win election then you will understand while they steal so much that even the devil will be shocked. We pretend that the politicians are the problem, they are not. We are the problem. We prefer those that can throw money around and expect them not to recover their investment when they get into power. What's the difference between America, Canada and Nigeria, it's Leadership. The whole system is fantastically corrupt.

The majority of voters are not on Twitter.

Peter Obi just escaped a shameful defeat.
[/s]

What do you consider shameful defeat? Sharing money to delegates by criminals to win ticket and refusing to do so is shameful?

You really have a long way to go. Among all the PDP aspirants, which of them can match PO in terms of qualifications?

Your suffering just continued

I can bet my balls that Now that Peter obi is no longer in PDP. PDP will not even get up to 5,000 votes come 2023! angry

The reason pdp got up to 11 million votes in 2019 was because of Peter obi. This is nothing but the plain truth.

However, we Nigerians have decided that it is Peter obi we want. Any party he goes, we'll all troops in and vote massively for him.

Welcome our incoming president Peter Ahmed Balogun Obi. President Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023!
He is if the Fulani agenda will not be unfolded.

This is the best time stop money for votes politics that has held this country back for long. This is a candidate that has shown his stance and belief which is the kind of change that we want. A Nigeria, where merit and quality is considered over nepotism and corruption.
All other politicians repeat same rhetorics and judging by Obi's antecedent, he was below average as a Governor, the whole hype about him is just tribal affiliation induced, nothing more.

Bros, its democracy, people have the right to support whoever they like.

Please stop trying to impose your will on other people. That you chose to support peter obi doesnt make you better than the person supporting tinubu or atiku

You people should stop fooling yourself about Obi and South East. If he was that good and popular in South East, what stop Anambra, Enugu and Imo from giving him a million pleus each. Delta Statr vote alone wipe all South East together. I know those states has the populations. Nigeria as a nation is not serious. Out of 200 million plus population, less than 25 million voted on election. Lagos suppose to be producing not less than 10 million but at the end of each election, not up to 1 million for a state with over 20 million population. You people should stop.....talk is cheap but election day all you big mouth will hide some where waiting for your old papa and mama to vote instead!

Exactly. We are not ready to be liberated. But those rooting for the rogues - Tinubu and Atiku -will still suffer it because the system will force the deprived to attack them.

Is obi not a rogue? What makes you think your preferred candidate is better than others? With this mentality, a crippled Togolese would be Nigerian president before anyone from your region.

Peter Obi is not the Obi or the Igwe or even an Nnanyi of Nigeria's political kingdom. He is apparently obsessed with crass ambition & over-bloated ego. Peter Obi wants to be a leader but he doesn't want to be first a follower. Personal attributes are different from political sagacity. Politics is a profession & parades professionals. If you can't follow the political route, then you have no business joining politics.

How is Obi a rogue. Someone who left N75Billion in the coffers of Anambra before he handed over?
The tragedy is many you supports rogues like Tinubu because of crumbs from master's table. You lack thinking faculty and right cogitation, driven by greed and hunger.

You saying that peter obi was below average as a governor, this statement alone shows how ignorant you are, about his record. My advise to you,is try and read about his achievements as a governor.Peter Obi record in Anambra is the best. That Anambra economy is stable today and even during the the recession is because of him. He was the one that gave APGA the only they have till date.

The actual voters aren’t on social media and don’t share our sentiments.
This clearly shows that PDP will give it to Atiku.. Which means that APC will not risk giving the slot to a southerner because with the political tensions of late, that’ll be handing power back to PDP
Jonathan defeated Atiku, didn't he?

He left 75 billion for what purpose? Is he different from the biblical servant that buried his talent? Was he voted as a governor to open a fixed deposit account on behalf of Anambra people? He did nothing!!! He was a mediocre.

Your people are rushing to Lagos because of the vision and efforts Tinubu laid for a greater Lagos, he did not open a fixed deposit with Lagos money, he did many things with it, your Pandora is a rogue, and he was even caught with over 200million at a private residence in Lagos then.

Choose your poison but don't impose your useless candidates on others, that is an hallmark of a Savage.
