I once had a wound dat refused to heal even after taking ampiclox, i later poured red oil into a spoon, held it over fire till it started boiling inside the spoon then i poured it right on the surface of the wound....bro it dried up d next day but d pain can make you pass out

I made this same mistake you're about to make and I regret it. Mine has turned to a very big keloid on my chest because I tried self medicating.

Please just visit a very good hospital and lay your complaint there. Forget Nairaland advice on this matter. Visit your doctor ASAP!!!

And after cleaning the wound, what next? I ask because after a day or 2, it will still need another cleaning thus peeling/removing of some things surrounding the sides of the wound. My girl once dressed it.

So apart from the fruits and veggies, no other medication for fast healing?

How fast a wound heals depend mostly on what you eat.
You give your body the "tool" it needs to do the work.
Cut down on sugary foods to the barest minimum.
If you can, eat two eggs daily. It'll go a long way.
Eat liver at least 2 times a week.
Add leafy vegetables to your foods.

Pls my wound have refused to heal despite applying various medications on it (chloramphenicol, ampicillin, penicillin ointment, injection powder).
