Why are you so naive?

You think the judgement was made today?

This judgement must have been decided like 2 months back.
If you're picked up to come and prove this, will you be able to? This is exactly what got Dakuku into this mess! Talking without facts!

Justice Odili has retired! I hope you're aware?

Retired but not tired.

Once a soldier (judge), always a soldier (judge).

Retirement doesn't take away one's influence having attained such height.

A day to the primaries and supreme court judgements are flying in all directions.

LMAO!

There are levels to this political shit mehn!
You have to honestly admit though, Wike is a strong man with balls. Forget his brash and uncouth persona for once, the nigga sabi play the game. Somehow, he always manages to have an upper hand to his antagonists.

According to Obasanjo, to be able to lead Nigeria you must have a bit of madness in you. Now I'm thinking that statement was intended for one Port Harcourt Governor like that.

FG dey fear that Wike guy, that niga gall diamond balls
I wish he will win presidential primary APC go just die

Cases delivered today were deliberated weeks or months ago.

That is how courts operate except in emergency cases.

So these cases were most like deliberated when Mary Odili was there. Not accusing anybody but the SP decided these cases long ago.
They were only read today.

Tell yourself the truth.

I have to agree with you to a reasonable extent. Wike is one Governor who wields the stick more than he dangles the carrot in his leadership. I see the nonsense happening in Anambra where criminals are having field days killing and maiming innocent citizens for one reason or the other, and it makes me shake my head in sadness and utter disappointment over the kind of leaders in the East.

You cannot try that level of madness in a society governed by Wike, Obasanjo or the former governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke. Those three men can decimate an entire village to dust just to eliminate any form of disturbance. And they speak bluntly without bothering on whose ox is gored.

Will Dakuku Peterside be able to pay 6b naira even though he was compensated with NIMASSA position to recover and get much more after spending in 2015 election?

But why would a Court give a judgement that cannot be enforced?

#6b?

You want him dead? Death sentence is better. Instead of giving a reasonable fine like #20m or #50m maximum.

Where do they expect him to get that kind of money? Even if I have it, I will never give it. I prefer to go to jail if there's jail term for such.

Our judges should hand over judgements that are enforceable.

His properties will be sold to offset the bill, both local and foreign properties, his bank account and all his assets will be valued first, so yes he’s going to pay every dime.

Moral lesson of the story is don't speak if you don't have fact. He alleged the SC justices and when they sat on his matter they deliver below the belt punch. I guess he would now understand the phrase "seek before you speak"

Na which kind judgement be this, how and wetin the guy wan take pay the damages?

Peter V. Peter.

Our court system is one of the major problems bedevilling us as a nation.

The day we can get it right with the judiciary, a foundation would have been built upon which every other block/concrete of progress can be placed one at a time for a truly developing and to-be prosperous nation.

This judgement was obviously influenced and hatched by the plaintiff's wife right from the lower courts up to the Supreme court and supported by all the presiding judges who sided with her by taking the defendant's comments as an insult to them all and their profession.
The same malicious allegations and unsubstantiated accusations, leading to defamation of character which put Peterside Dakuku in trouble is what you just did now!! Mind your tongue bro otherwise, your case maybe more pitiable

Judges are wise. They aren't called learned for nothing.
They know who is involved and they know his net worth.
Dakuku himself has not pled for leniency or mercy at all.

So your argument is that the Supreme Court Justices decision is not based on value, logic and sense but instead spite and self innterest?

So does that not make them unqualified iddiots who should not be in their positions/
You have to reason logically before write. The allegation is that Odili bribed the Supreme Court for Wike to get favourable judgment in 2015 Governorship election. Now the case is before the Supreme Court that Dakuku claimed was bribed. Or are you saying that the Supreme Court should reduce the amount awarded by the High Court, affirmed by the Court of Appeal. Dakuku should go and pay his debt pls. You can't accuse Supreme Court of a country of corruption without one proof
