Exactly. The policemen have family too they need to return to. One can tell from the sounds of guns going-off what type of weapon is being used. It's no surprise that the bullets tore some kids apart that they were unidentifiable till a DNA test is concluded.

I remember the police unions warning about their jobs becoming more difficult when Abbott removed the training clause as part of the lax laws on gun control last September. We are now seeing the results.

NRA and the pro-gun politicians ( NRA donations) will keep sacrificing kids and other non -important Americans till they themselves get hit.

American schools have big compounds and playground; however, they are usually a single building. i.e. all lassrooms and teachers/admin offices are in that one building. The schools will usually have one main entrance often times with double doors and other single doors for exits. Note that the gym and indoor spoor are usually also inside that one building.
