Guy was a bit rude, but the sad truth is, Labour party would not win an election in Nigeria against the juggernauts of PDP and APC.

See Buhari. The minute he went and formed his own party, he still lost. The day he allied with other politicans to form APC, that's when he started winning.

Only hope for Obi is that enough disgruntled politicans leave as a result of the fallout from the APC and PDP primaries to form a strong enough third force...but hoping most of them would join Labour party and give him the ticket to Aso Rock is a big ask.

(God knows I wish APC and PDP could be kicked out.)

Even if Obi wins, he would face a national assembly that is made up of majoirty PDP and APC members.

He won't be able to get anything done, and at the end, it would be all wasted.

I say this as someone who backs a candidate from a smaller party (Moghalu). I know that if my candidate wins the presidency, unless his party captures a majority of governor, state and national assembly positions, it would be all for wash.

Even Obi that won governorship on APGA ended up in PDP, the party that had a majority in the state assembly and LGA.

National politics is a different ball game. Too many people with too many agendas way beyond state politics.

(I say this as someone who does not like PDP and APC, but the sad thing is that many Nigerians don't think that way)

Went there to forestall dolarization of the party's primary.. at least seeing them can instil fear into the hearts of the people

I think EFCC needs to be more professional when going after suspects. Their presence at the PDP presidential election venue might likely cause stampede, leading to high number of death.
