There is no big deal about this real side. However, they are technically superior- imagine just one shot on goal to win UCL. The same against CITY. Most times, their shots on goals is the least this season amongst giants. In fact, they don't play well but they do what is expected of them.

You can not call a team that beat PSG,, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool lucky to lift a cup. Find another adjective.

I knew Madrid were going to take advantage of Liverpool's high defensive line and also the constant overlapping of Arnold. His performance against Tottenham was bizarre, he left his position completely and was playing in the mid field trying to supply crosses which didn't work. The goal they conceded eventually came from his wing just like he was caught off guard again today.

They were even lucky not to have conceded in the first half because Madrid tried several through balls to beat their high line. One went through for Benzema but was cancelled. Many went through in the second half but was wasted.

But all kudos have to goto Courtois. He was the man of the match.
