I am a Chelsea and EPL fan but give maximum kudos to Real Madrid. They beat the top three teams in England and also beat the top team in France. They are the true and deserved champions of Europe.

If kareems first goal in first half wasn't ruled as no goal what will u have said about the vicinus goal being their only chance?

Liverpool had over 19 attempts and couldn't convert 1. Madrid had 2 and converted both. One didn't count.

Again Madrid had a balanced tactics. To be able to score in 59 min & not pack box till 95min, they kept putting pressure in mid & attack & still didn't concede a goal. That's a balanced gameplay baba.

That Chelsea squad against madrid in Spain was in beast mode,the toughest game for madrid enroute the final.

Reussite:
Omo this match pain me. Liverpool should have taken their chances in the first half knowing that second half have been Madrid's from knockout stages.
14 UCL is just too much abeg. The only comforting thing for me is that Benzema did not break Ronaldo's record.

You can't blame them, they tried their best but just couldn't get past Courtois. Madrid's mid field and defence was also well organized making it very difficult for Liverpool to make their usual runs and penetrate.

Liverpool looked jaded from the start, build up play terribly slow and the players looked uncharacteristically nervous for most parts.
After a grueling end to the season, this was just a bridge too far, not helped by Klopp's poor tactics.

Exactly, they were uncharacteristically slow and lacked ideas going forward. Thiago was also a culprit in slowing them down. Things changed a bit when he was removed and replaced with Firmino. I told someone today that Liverpool were lucky in this season's Champions League not to have played any big teams before getting to the final. They played Inter, Benfica, and Villarreal, and they could have won it tonight. They tried to cheat Madrid with a VAR. Benzema's goal was a very legit goal because it was a back pass from Fabinho.

The goal was too clumsy. It is a final and they wanted a free and fair play. You don't give red cards, award penalties or make other drastic decisions in a final unless it is very very glaring otherwise the game will be ruined.
