All the homebased all just flash with no end product. @odunayaw nothing to calm down unless you want to lie to yourself. Clearly a big difference.

MVP is Bassey.

Rafiu tried to an extent. He is quick footed and fast but lacks technique.

Ishaq has done enough to catch foreign clubs attention

It can only be up from here
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Nobody: 3:10am On May 29, 2022
Iwobi has shown great professionalism and dedication today.
Aribo showed what he's made of.
Bassey has replicated club form cool

The home based players were jittery to an extent. There's a clear difference between how they play and the foreign players no doubt.

Anticipating a better game next time

Thank God, I'm not the only one... Homebased played rubbish. All of them. Is not their fault. It's the NFF that allowed the Nigerian league to rot. How can you rough a goalkeeper like that and hope to go free? They carried that their NFPL okada football mentality to this game

Yeah

This is one reason I wish NPFL clubs behave like clubs and not Gov MDAs

Iwobi was everywhere. Even as a deep lying playmaker, he dazzled. Excellent performance.

Iwobi worked himself to the bone, till the last minute he was still pressing. Something has definitely changed with Iwobi, pesin wey no dey last 90 minutes before. Iwobi had a great game too.
Too early to say but am liking Paseiro already, we were totally outplayed in the first half but we gave a good fight in the 2nd. On to the Ecuador game.

The number 17 guy with more game time will be a menace! Good job coach Pesaro! Great job Super Eagles! Having traveled such hours and still give us this performance is a great thing to see! This team is meant for greatness! The only way is up from here. Desser cemented his place as the 2nd number 9!

Oga Abi sisi, cool down

Home based aren't doing anything wrong. Stop lashing out just because they are home based. Moses Simon with zero input is home based too right?

No de talk for fun na
Really? well he played deep but still made those turns he was known for at AFCON. As for that Rafiu shot, the guy is right bro. He is quick and managed to inject a level of pace in that wing. However, his football knowledge is lacking. That shot at the post was a very poor decision.

Iwobi has really grown. This just teaches us to be more patient with our players

He played deep lying playmaker well. Gave Aribo enough room to do his stuff.

NFF ought to keep arranging friendly matches to gel this team

Dessers : Great hold up play, excellent movement, great goal.

I still don't know what village that No 7 came from.

All played rubbish. Not their fault. It's the foundation. They are not refined. No wonder Mexico flogged them 4 last time.

They energy we put into trying to paint all these homebase good should be better channeled to the NFF. We need genuine reform in our football. Not that im against homebase but their quality is extreme below.

Yeah. I'm not trying to slander them though. I don't see any clear reason to state that the home based players were poor.

I didn't see the first half.

Moses turns were okay but had no end product

Rafiu's shot. You want to hang him for taking a shot at the near post? Don't players do that?
How many wayward shots have we seen "foreign" play

I still think y'all are to judgemental just because he is home based. If na home based do Ekong error, i can imagine the uproar

The energy you're using to badmouth them should be channeled to the LMC

Anyway, opinions differs even if two people are looking at the same thing. So no issues. I don hear you

He was bad. Moffi created a clear chance for him. Just cut and should. He got lost and didn't know the important thing to do. He should go and watch williams, Mane, Benzema, and others, and learn from them. In NFPL, they play okada football. If these guys are the best, i wonder how the remaining guys in NFPL play. Very annoying football.
