Please help a brother out, a scammer claims to have sent a huge sum of stolen funds into my barter account.

I tried login to the account to confirm, but it keeps saying Account disabled, that I should contact customer care.

I tried reaching out to barter's helpline, but it's weekend they are away. I sent them an email.

PLEASE WHAT SHALL I DO? I AM VERY AFRAID AT THE MOMENT. I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO ANY TROUBLE.

I have already went to the nearest police station and gave my statement.

Forget that account and go and open new one in another bank because if you go to the bank where your account was disabled The likelihood that you'll be arrested is high and accused of fraud etc so the best thing is to forget it and secondly stop involving yourself in anything awoof or dropping you account details on social media for free things.yahooo boys use people's account number when they feel they are being investigated by sending it to account numbers that they come across on social media to evade arrest

No, no lies. I do not run any Momo Agent nor do I know anyone that does it. I just want to know if I am not going to get into trouble for what someone did. I am not going to go to the bank to claim or try withdraw the money. I have never used that account for anything before.

you'll likely be in trouble Because they won't believe you're innocent.theyll believe that you're part of them because they will wonder how the money entered into your account if you didn't give them.also for them to disable your account it means they might have sent your name and account number to the police and whenever you show up in the bank, they'll ask you to wait until the police come and arrest you there and once you are taken to the police,the police will begin to torture you to confess about the rest of your syndicate who are involved in the yahoo thing,if you still insist on innocence,they might force you to write a statement of a crime you didn't commit (cultism,armed robbery etc) that will ensure that even if your people come and bail you out, it'll become difficult for them because they won't understand that the police have tortured you at gun point to write and sign about what you didn't do.

Also your people/religion have made things very difficult and the country dangerous that's what is causing the hatred for people they call "aboki" meanwhile aboki in your language means friend but in the real language of the yorubas it means a nuisance, idiot, uninvited person that should be tolerated.

If you can get a copy of your police statement and send to the bank via emails
Send like 50 consecutive emails
Also go to their Twitter page and message them aggressively
That's how to run things and clear yourself asap cuz flutterwave/barter have a very bad email CS

This is why you don't put your banking details or payments links in the open. Even legit PayPal exchangers will first ask you for your ID and location before doing business with you. The day I went to the bank to get my dollar card some boys blocked me to tell me they want to do business with me. Offering 40 percentage of what they will be putting inside. I said no. Truth is you are the prime suspect in this case. Your story holds no grounds. The only hope you have right now is barter. That's if they don't hang you out to dry.

The funds were said to be sent into my barter account. But I didn't get email of any transactions happening to my account or anything.

I haven't been using that account at all.
