This has nothing to do with APC or PDP but the presidency zoned to South and then microzoned to SE for equity
oyatz:
Yorubas have nothing to do with the PDP primaries.

Peter Obi and almost the whole Igbos worked for Atiku/PDP in 2019.
When it comes to 2023, Atiku/PDP owe it a moral duty to replicate the gesture by supporting Peter Obi to clinch the PDP ticket but they rather frustrated Peter Obi out of the party.

Rather than blame those who let you down, you are blaming the Yorubas who didn't contest in the PDP primaries.

Pretemding to be ignorant of zoning whether APC or PDP will not save your betrayal of the South. The North will continue to rule but anytime it comes to South, it has to be SE!
duro4chang:
Always blaming others for your problem. Is it yoruba that drove obi out of PDP?

Even when Obi was in PDP and you knew it was Igbo turn, you still refused to reach a consensus on zoning, so this has nothing to do with Obi leaving PDP. Just know that zoning died in Nigeria because of Yorubas

I'm happy with Obi leaving the PDP, I'm happy with Atiku being the PDP presidential candidate. I'm looking forward to GEJ or Lawan being APC presidential candidate.
That would complete my happiness. Tinubu is not gonna ever be president! J

Who has the power to zone any ticket if not the political parties?

NetValueFX:
Don't mind them.

We have said it time without number is either the whole south rally round an Igbo for president or the North should happily keep the power.
The whole south can not really round an Igbo, Ijaw or Yoruba candidate because there are many political parties.

What you are suggesting can only work if there is only one party or one STRONG party and several weak political parties (like the PDP between 1999-2015)such that the hierarchy of such party can decide to zone their ticket to a particular place.

If there are alternative political parties, they will choose candidate from another zone.
